Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant is located near the El Poblado Park. Nice furnishings and friendly. The food is a kind of Thai cuisine. But the missing Thai favor. The smoked pork is very tasty.
This wonderful restaurant on Calle 8 in Poblado. The restaurant can be difficult to find, just look for the 17 characters. It is a wonderful environment peaceful, tastefully furnished with an open kitchen to see the food prepared. After a starter of delicious spring rolls we had each a wonderful meal, carefully prepared and delicious. The entire staff is wonderful, helpful and we laughed a lot that makes the experience even more rewarding. Recommend that you make reservations, and the dress is very casual.
What should have been a short pick-up job ended as a total disaster. My first impression was pretty good. Friendly staff and manager. The manager took my order: Spring Rolls, rice paper rolls, tres aguas and a curry for the retreat. Since there was a group of about 10 people, I thought they might need longer to prepare my order. But I drank a beer and didn't mind. After an hour later, meals finally arrived. Back at the hotel (that was just above the street) we noticed that the spring rolls and rice were missing for the curry. Back in the restaurant I waited 10min until I got the rice and the spring rolls (at least I thought so). Again we opened the boxes with jumping rolls, a small amount of rice and another curry. As we opened the boxes, the phone of our hotel room and the receptionist told us that they screwed up our restaurant order and someone comes into our room to get an additional meal they gave us. When the boy at the service of the restaurant checked the box on our table, he wanted the curry (the pad thai was) I first time. We told him we already ate the pad-thai before we noticed something was wrong with the order. We told him it's better to take the curry they gave me five minutes ago, because we didn't eat it and it's still fresh. He took the padhai anyway. It was a super strange situation and my worst restaurant experience ever, but we were happy to finally eat something. Until we eat. The spring rolls and rice paper rolls with shrimps were good. Tres aguas was okay. The curry was a disaster. I don't like throwing food away, but it was really disgusting and had nothing to do with Curry. That was the point I really wished that the guy from the restaurant would have the curry instead of the pad-thai, the ateable, but also no real pad-thai. The whole situation is still unpleasant.
We went with high expectations but the service and the food were poor. A few waiters that makes the service slow but more important, the food was very poor. Not worthy to go.
TLDR: the curries are horrendous. It tasted like someone took a bunch of black peppers and blended it in coconut soup. If you are traveling to Colombia and want non- Colombian food please skip this place.
