Bidrage med feedbackI just left the place with a happy bauch, my wife had a Venezuelan arepa full of avocado and I had a delicious Venezuelan style sandwich filled with bark meat. nothing of delicious, the service was great and a cozy location.
Chef house is one of a series of quick to eat in san antonio de pereira. the restaurant makes a super job with burgers and arepas, while other dishes are not so much. we went to the chef house to try their burgers on the basis of the recommendation of a friend. when I opened the menu, the price of the restaurants shocked me the top of the line burger. at 30,000 pesos (approximately $10) it was the most expensive burger I found in Colombia. then the waitress told me that there were other less expensive options. I finished the order of a deluxe cheeseburger, which is a piece of real cheddar, speck, homemade rolls and chef house 's premium cow. the burger came solo (no pommes or Slavs) and set me back 16,500 pesos. an acceptable price for a gourmetburger in Colombia. the waitress put a tablet of 4 different homemade sandwich spreads that contain garlic, mais, pfeffer and speck. even without the fancy salsas the burger was quite good and the wonderful salsas made my burger over the top. so far the chef house had the best burgers in san antonio de pereira. To create this grilled joy, I had to order two items from the menu. 1. the traditional chef house burger and 2. premium bark meat. I was a little confused at first, but after a little explanation I understood my order correctly. another article where the restaurants are excellent are the filled arepas. Usually arepas are humiliated, almost tasteless grating cakes that are a clasp in Colombian nutrition. chef house makes magie with the arepa and turns it into delicious little sandwiches that are great for lunch or evening snacks. the craftsman really spreads out the experience of eating these delicious tasty. Last night we returned to the chef house to use the Wednesday pepito 2 for 1 special. the pepito is a Venezuelan speciality. When I first saw the advertisement for the Pepito Special, it reminded me of a mini-Philly cheese steak. the pepito is an open sandwich consisting of a baguette, fried chicken and bark cubes and embroidered with parmesan cheese. the pepito is accompanied by a generous part of cracked fried potato slices. the pepito didn't do much to me. the meat was dry and hard, and the Parmesano cheese was hardly noticeable. the rest of our party of 4 shared similar opinions of the pepito. So I will hold with the burgers and filled arepas in the chef house. chef house also offers coffee house tariff as coffee (natural) and a small selection of baked goods. I look forward to trying the next trip to the restaurant.
In the san bartolo mall you will find this real hip place with great food for good prices. the arepas are good with good taste. especially the homemade sauces are delicious. the service is great, very friendly!
