Food really impressed. Great service and drinks. Loved the ribs with bbq sauce. I had mojito and my gf a moscow mule. All good.

Correo restaurant a few blocks away serves high quality beef with choice of two sides. The solomito steak at Barbaro was the same price but was just served on a bed of corn sauce. It was a bit distracting to see delivery tradesmen walking in...with box loads of supplies in the main dining room. The good news is that the solomito was superb quality beef (best I 've had in five years here) and it was expertly prepared. In Medellin I order my steak medium well in order to get it cooked medium. What they call medium in Medellin is still too rare for my taste. This may read like a critical review but I will go back to Barbaro time and again. It really high quality and worth it.

Todo la comida es espectacular, el pulpo connpure de mazorca parmesano y papa; exquisito!! La Picana 1300 libras, y el tomahawk espectacular. La entrada de guacamole con chicharrón y cebolla fue espectacular . Todo fue espectacular. El mesero Santiago fue super amable, un servicio muy...bueno. All the food is spectacular, the octopus with a side of sweet corn and potato mashed and parmesan exquisite!! The Picana 1300 gr, and the spectacular tomahawk. The guacamole entry with pork rinds and onions . Everything was spectacular. The waiter Santiago was super friendly, we received a very good service.
