Alambique - Medellín

I praise the chefs for creativity and the appetizers were good. the standards were also beautiful. Overall, I would say it is overestimated unless they know exactly what to order. a few remarkable things bring that for me 1) terrible cocktails. I don't know what they think is an old fashion, but that's not it. the other two cocktails I tried were just as terrible. -1 2) over season. while the appetizers were mostly good, the net parts felt like licking the spicy package instead of mixing into a large plate. incredibly strong, so much that it seems either a mistake or eat for a 90-year-old without taste buds. - Three loud music. some love it, so no negative marker, simply do not sit in the middle floor. or go up. or make earrings from a serviette. the night was recommended, more than the drinks. the band was great for the stage; they are not responsible for the venue.

We loved this place. the environment is very cool. think jungle library type vibe. the food and the drinks were delicious. only complained was our server had a job. I'll give you five more stars because everything else was great.

What a phenomenal place! the only problem they have with the alambique is that when they go here at the beginning of their visit, this will be the bar with which they measure all other restaurants and leave them sad and incomplete, each detail with this place was considered. from the stunning menu design and layout via the books / reclaimed wood / pannerboard design. it comes all together in an eclectic beauty that the personal is warm and accurate, but eating is the best part! as a vegan I would like to have a few more options, but the one I got (i love vegan) was amazing. the fresh arome and professionally cooked spasm and mushrooms were more than perfect and let me just right the cocktails are artworks. Literally the only best mojito I've ever had (and I'm quite traveled) we are planning to stop this visit in many other times, and we think they should. it's a WONDERFUL spot.

I love this place! overall vibe, decor and style was incredible. service was great (in contrast to many reviews eating here was delicious, but intentionally the main thing is massive! my man can again three turkey dinner of himself and we did not come near the pork bell ceviche (even if it was delicious). If they were a bit in the city, I would recommend a reservation on the day before many of the tables are reserved and it fills up quickly!

Wonderful food but truly awful service. No attention when we arrived. Had to go look for a waiter four times to get service. They weren't even busy. Who goes to a restaurant to be treated like this EDIT: I went back for dinner eight weeks later with family and friends. Perfect food and some of the best service I've had in Medellin. Everything was fast, the waiters very attentive and perfect food/ambience. A beautiful transformation from my first experience.
