Brasserie Maroon - Mechelen

The information from Happycow was outdated, as the waiter informed me that the restaurant no longer offered any Vegan options due to a reduction in their food diversity. They do still have a few vegetarian options available, but I did not try them as I am vegan. Unfortunately, I found the waiter to be unprofessional and disrespectful, as he openly mocked vegans in front of me and my friends after I inquired about their vegan options. He didn't seem to be joking and made it clear that he did not support the vegan philosophy. I have no desire to return to this restaurant after this experience.

We had a very delicious meal, beautifully presented with friendly service, but a bit pricey compared to Dutch standards.
