One of the waitresses at this restaurant has a severe attitude problem. The tall blonde waitress, whose name I think is Sue, never smiles and is extremely rude. She and other staff members speak disrespectfully about customers both when they enter the restaurant and while they are eating, within earshot of other patrons. The Italian toast is unusually small and should not have been served at all. The corned beef hash is compared to dog food. The chairs and condiment containers are filthy. There is an extra charge for sharing a meal with a friend. The exterior of the restaurant needs a new paint job, as does the ice cream cone sign. The whole place is in need of a major renovation, especially since it is one of the first things people see when entering the city. I would rather go to the Ugly Rooster and pay a little more than to be treated poorly by a waitress who has chosen to work in customer service.

This restaurant is always bustling, but they offer great prices. The hash brown potatoes could have been cooked a little longer, but the portion size was generous. The service was excellent, and overall the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Perfect spot for a delicious and affordable breakfast. Price range: $1-10 per person. Worst hamburger in the Capital District. Ordered a rare hamburger on a bed of lettuce.I received it well done on withered lettuce. Noisy slamming of dishes.
