The Mebane Downtown Table

My wife had the Redfish special. The fish was tasty but the portion was tiny. You would expect a single filet on the plate but it was two small pieces and I can’t call them filets. Again, very tasty meal. I had the Fried Chicken confit. Basically I had two fried chicken legs. Yes, they were tasty and the greens that came with the meal were good. It seems like the Table is stuck in time and not trying to move forward with innovative dishes.

As always the food was fabulous and the wait staff is so friendly.

My friend and I most really dined here on a Saturday just before noon for brunch. There was no wait to be seated, and they gave us our favorite round table in the corner. The service was fast, friendly and helpful without smothering us. Our drinks (Strawberry Peach Rosé Mimosas and Sweet Tea) and food (the biscuits with peach preserves and our steak and eggs entrees) were fresh, expertly prepared and delicious. It was a great meal, and we'll definitely be back again.

Very nice dining experience. Little noisy, but that is typical of most restaurants when they are crowded.

I was very disappointed in the experience. I had been before, but it wasn’t engaging this time.
