Mcleese Lake Neighbourhood Pub

Stayed in the motel. Rooms are cute and clean. In the morning went to the diner, staff is super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. Definitely highly recommended

The manager of this place is absolutely fantastic!! This is a seasonal area so in slow times when you phone the alternate phone number your call will be answered or returned. Rooms are available even if the c sign says closed, don't give up. She will go above and beyond!!

Nice lake and nice people, the review about the boat rental people being rude is the other resort... *added bonus: swans swam by my window

Just outside of this resort is one of the rare 1950s Garbage Gobblers. The folks in McCleese Lake are knowledgeable about their vintage memorabilia!

Posting a review for the cafe only. There is another location (Oasis Resort Campsites) where I left a review of the motel/campground also 5 stars. This resort is under new management and all aspects have been revitalized, including the cafe. The hours are limited, and offset with the neighbouring pub and grill, and it has become a community favourite! We stayed at the campground and motel as part of a group family vacation, and we visited the cafe three times. They offer special buffet events a few times a week which are very popular with guests and locals. We managed to get in on one of the breakfast buffets and a Greek dinner buffet. Both were very well priced and delicious! The dinner buffet was especially tasty following a solid day of mountain biking in Williams Lake. We also had one dinner where we ordered off the menu. All the food was fresh and well prepared, and was very much like home cooking. The cafe is licensed and the drinks were pretty much perfect. The Caesar was so good! The host and staff all take great care of you and are very friendly. It’s a great place to stop if you’re passing through, and also a great place to have a few meals while you are camping/moteling.
