Went here for our first wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Beautiful surroundings match the elegant dining room and the service was immaculate.

We went for a drive out and stopped in here as we had our entertainment book, and I'm so glad we did.

Absolutely wonderful evening out. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, with a lovely balance of high service, delivered with warmth. Food was amazing, honest, wholesome well developed flavours. Took me on such a journey. A thoughtful, respectful and delicious menu. Well worth every penny. I had the venison and my husband had then the Gnocchi Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We are there as a weekend trip from Adelaide. Thursday night was quiet (only 5 tables eating in total) so a perfect romantic setting! (Although I'm sure it would be just as romantic with more) The staff were fabulous, lovely, friendly, and had a great knowledge of food and wine. The staff and service was an absolute 10/10!!!! We had the pork belly small plate (2 thick slices of pork with herb salad and a heap of fennel slices and a chilli caramel drizzle) not too spicy or sweet. Pork was cooked perfectly. A bit too much fennel in my opinion but I would put down to personal taste. The venison shanks (3 slices of shanks with barley and salad on top), yummy indeed but the figs were very spicy that I was not expecting. Meat fell off the bone though! The fish special: red snapper with prawns and pippies. This was quite spicy but my partner loved it! The fish was the highlight, great crispy skin. The absolute standout was the dessert special: passion fruit panna cotta with coconut sorbet, coconut soil, apricots and mandarin with a citrus coulis. Every single aspect of it was wonderful, so refreshing. $130 for 1 small plate, 2 main meals, 1 dessert, 3 alcohol beverages and 1 soft drink. You absolutely get what you pay for, the portions were large we couldn't finish each meal! The grounds were beautiful and even though it was freezing and wet we had to walk outside and have a look! A must for a romantic evening.
