Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - McKinney

I don't typically dine at Popeyes, but I decided to stop by for lunch and ordered the new shrimp and chicken tender combo meal, which came with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. I have to say, I wasn't particularly impressed with the chicken, but the shrimp was fantastic! I never thought I would prefer shrimp over chicken at Popeyes! If you're unsure about what to order, I definitely recommend trying the shrimp or the fish—they were really delicious. The mashed potatoes with gravy are also a favorite of mine. Normally, I'm not a gravy person, but Popeyes does it exceptionally well!

The chicken is consistently delicious and served hot. The staff is friendly. Although our order has been wrong a few times, they were quick to correct it. I have to deduct one star because the wait for food can be lengthy at times, leading to long lines both in the drive-thru and inside. However, the chicken is so tasty that the wait is worth it overall.
