Bidrage med feedbackI understand that finding staff for restaurants can be challenging, but it's crucial for management to properly train the employees who are present to ensure excellent service, which will encourage customers to return. I'm frustrated by spending money on food that used to be better, only to be met with poor service. For example, I received a dry salad without any dressing. Our waiter didn't check back to see if everything was okay, so I asked another waitress for some dressing. Unfortunately, it never arrived. It wasn't until our waiter finally came over, after I had already started eating my salad because we had an event to attend, that he brought it to me—without any apology. I don't appreciate feeling like I should have to get up and fetch what I need while dining, especially since it wasn't busy; we were there at 5:30.
I understand that staffing can be a challenge in restaurants, but the employees who are there should be well-trained by management to deliver excellent service to encourage repeat customers. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience where I spent money on a meal that was fine, but the service was quite poor. I received a dry salad without any dressing, and our waiter never returned to check on us. I ended up asking another waitress for some dressing, but it never arrived. Eventually, our waiter came back only after I had already eaten half of my salad, and there was no apology for the oversight. It’s frustrating to feel like I have to get up and ask for what I need while I’m eating. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 PM.
