Maria's Mexican Restaurant Bar Grill

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for dinner and ordered double Maria's fajitas, but when we got home we realized we had only received a single order. We had to go back to the restaurant to get it sorted out. The atmosphere didn't get a high score because we didn't eat there, but the staff was very accommodating and made sure our order was correct this time. The food was excellent and despite the mix-up, we still had a good experience. I was really excited to try this restaurant after reading good reviews and seeing appetizing food photos. It's hard to find authentic Mexican food in Western Tennessee. The waitress took a while to seat us as she was talking to another staff member. We asked about the Maria's dip, but when it arrived, it was different from what we were told and not very warm. A woman at the bar glared at us while serving other customers. Our Tacos Jalisco didn't match the menu description and the service was overly attentive. The food, however, was tasty despite the discrepancies. The prices were higher than advertised online. The checkout experience was handled by a different woman who was friendly but made inappropriate comments about our payment method and bank selection. I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and found the price per person to be between $10–20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 4 out of 5. I recommend trying the Chips and Salsa, Steak Fajita, Quesadilla, and Queso Dip. The only downside was that parking was difficult to find, but there is a free parking lot available for guests.

I have had the chicken fajitas nachos twice this week. Family and I had take out tonight. Everyone’s meal was delicious; we did have a minor problem l with my husband’s steak was cooked way wrong medium rare instead of medium well. He took it back and graciously got a refund without a problem.. I would still rate the food a 5 and the service too. Maybe we can dine in soon. Excellent food and service. Always comes out of the kitchen quick. Location is a bit crowded and building needs alot of updates. Restrooms are kept clean, which in my experience is a good judge of how well the kitchen might be maintained.
