Vickey's Soul Grill Catering

Vickey's food and service were top-notch. I had the catfish dinner, accompanied by dirty rice and green beans. The outdoor atmosphere of the restaurant was pristine. It’s a gem and a wonderful addition to the broader Pittsburgh food scene.

The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the mac and cheese was equally delicious. The greens were tender and flavorful. This was the best meal I've had in years! I also had the chance to chat with Vickey, and I was impressed by their history and dedication to the restaurant. I definitely plan to visit again!

My son really enjoyed it. I'm still not sure how I feel, but I'm willing to give it another try and sample a different dish. The smashed pig dogs were too salty for my taste, and the yams were a bit too sweet. However, the chicken, cabbage, rice, and peas were good. I just think it might need a bit more atmosphere to stand out from chain restaurants.

For the opening. The food was very good. Service was very good. I have wings and cats. Wels didn't have the murky taste at all. It reminded me how my grandmother did it. Mac and cheese were good, I wish I had a bigger portion. The music was a vibe! Overall, it was an excellent experience and I will return.

We had a church meeting at Vickey’s today. Then a buffet was set up with our food. The service was outstanding Vickey and her team were professional and gracious. We had ribs, chicken, greens, Mac cheese, candied jams, potato salad and cornbread. Everything was excellent I especially liked the ribs the best. On behalf of St John Baptist Church thank you Vickey for the hospitality. We will definitely have future events in your venue.
