Bidrage med feedbackRocky's is renowned for its fish, so we both ordered the small fish sandwich, which turned out to be quite generous! The sandwich featured a large, crunchy piece of golden beer-battered fish on a medium bun, accompanied by a hearty serving of thin, battered fries, all cooked in fresh oil. It was very satisfying, and we even took some leftovers home. Our only criticism is that the fish and fries could have been served hotter; the fish was warm but leaning towards cold. Nevertheless, we are eager to return and try more items from the menu, and we highly recommend trying the fish sandwich at Rocky's. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs. I also suggest adding homemade hush puppies to the menu to complement the fish. Overall, we give Rocky's two thumbs up!
The food was excellent! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly.
The food here is absolutely delicious, but I really wish they would bring back the seasoned fries or at least regular fries. I'm not a fan of the curly fries or waffle fries, especially when they're served on a salad.
The new management has made some great improvements. A cold, dark game room that was rarely used has been transformed into a new dining area with decent decor. However, a replacement for the booths and addressing a few wobbly tables would enhance the space even more. The portions of fish are impressive, no matter what size you choose, and the burgers are both large and flavorful. They’ve recently introduced buffets for lunch from Monday to Friday, brunch on the weekends, and dinner on Mondays. I’ve enjoyed the lunch and brunch buffets several times, and here’s what I think: there are plenty of options with a variety of entrees, sides, and vegetables. The only issues my guests and I have encountered are that the food isn’t always hot enough and that desserts sometimes run out. I hope these are issues they are actively working on. One suggestion I have is to reconsider serving pierogies, as they often come out as little brown hockey pucks. They once did a pierogie casserole that was really tasty, and I think that would be a better option to stick with regularly. Overall, whether you order off the diverse menu or dive into the buffet, Rocky's is certainly worth a visit, so I hope to see you there!
We took a friend's recommendation and it definitely lived up to the hype. Rich chose a spinach salad topped with bacon, grilled chicken, mushrooms, and a delightful house-made dressing. I went for the fish sandwich, which featured roasted cod, onion rings, and coleslaw. They also offer a fantastic bread and beer-battered cod. The portions were incredibly generous, and our server was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere was charming and had a cozy neighborhood feel. It's the kind of place that your aunt and uncle would absolutely love!
