El Vado Mexican - McHenry

Food was average at best. We had to ask for waters 3 times before we received them. The music was too loud we had to talk louder than normal to hear each other. And then had to wait 20 minutes for our check. And it was not busy at all. Only about 6 or 7 tables.

Food was great, service was excellent. Waitress handled an unreasonable customer in the next booth with enough grace that he seemed satisfied by the end of his meal

Custom Steak Burrito, ochicata, food out in 3 minutes. Unreal service. Highly Recommend. If you like a new restaurant to try. Atmosphere is great and happy. FOOD was outstanding.

After having read some very good reviews on Facebook, I decided to enjoy their special Taco Tuesday deal. My take out order was six with two each chicken, steak, and carnitas all Mexican style. They came with two pairs of sauce, red and green, along with six wedges of lime. Every taco was delicious and nicely made. I plan on making El Vado my go to Mexican restaurant. Next time, we'll dine in.

Great food and service. Taco Tuesdays are a good deal and delicious. And fries here are outstanding. ?
