El Castillo Mexican - McDonough

My family and I just left here and it was SO delicious! Two servers were working and very pleasant. Shots were big for the price, and the country fried steak is a must try! We’ll be back!!

Really enjoyed this neighborhood gem. Great central location right in the downtown McDonough area on the corner with nearby street parking. Friendly staff and a clean environment. The Broccoli Cheddar soup was warm and filling. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I tried this for the first time tonight and we enjoyed it, the food was excellent and atmosphere was great and our waitress Angel really made our first experience extremely enjoyable with great suggestions on food and drinks. I would definitely recommend!!

PJ’s Cafe is just a short walk from my flower shop in McDonough, making it a convenient place to meet friends after work for dinner or drinks and appetizers. The servers, Trey and Rebecca, are attentive and friendly, always greeting us by name when we arrive. Every dish I've tried has been delicious, including the tomato bisque, Asian stir-fried vegetables, and garlic toast with mozzarella—each one is divine! I truly love this locally owned gem.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time recently, and it was a wonderful experience. The bartender and server were extremely friendly and patiently answered all of our questions—believe me, we had quite a few! We ordered a mixed drink that was perfectly crafted and definitely not watered down. For our main course, we had the country fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes, and I must say, it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The quality of the food, combined with their excellent hospitality, left me very satisfied; I even tipped the cook! I can't wait to return.
