Taqueria Tepeque - McAllen

I recently had the best tacos in the area—fast, affordable, and incredibly delicious. The menu is extensive, with so much to choose from, but the tacos are an absolute must-try. I'm particularly fond of the tacos de lengua (beef tongue) and tacos de cabeza (beef head). I haven't come across many places that offer these options, so that alone makes it worth a visit. The meats are tender and bursting with flavor, but it's the handmade corn tortillas that truly steal the show. They're light, fluffy, and resilient. You can't go wrong here. A standout dish is definitely the birria tacos!

Delicious tacos! The service was excellent, and you get a generous portion of food at a fantastic price. The choriqueso was incredible! I also ordered the asada burrito and dollar tacos, and everything was served piping hot and bursting with flavor. This place is definitely a must-try!

During my recent trip to RGW, I stumbled upon this charming little restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the "queen," which was served on a handmade tortilla with well-seasoned meat, delicious guacamole, and a variety of salsas. I definitely recommend this place!
