Rex Cafe Bakery - McAllen

I usually go there to buy cute bread that is baked there. they have semitas I can't find anywhere else. they have a great menu for breakfast, although I never ordered. parking is somehow limited and difficult to find.

Very busy place but nice and clean. First time there would go again. Didn't have anything to eat just water and a sweet bread.

Friendly staff. Food was hot and fresh. Mom and pop feel.

We love coming here. My dad would bring me here to enjoy some breakfast now I bring my son. When I ask him what he wants for breakfast he always says Rex Cafe! The coffee is always hot. The service is great. The beans used to be watery the coffee cups were chipped over used. However they have fixed those issues.

Historic Cafe in downtown McAllen! Delicious food and vintage atmosphere. Lunch specials available every day. Pan dulce available too.
