Palm World - Mbarara

I absolutely adored this restaurant. The food is outstanding, the staff is friendly and welcoming, the ambiance is well worth the price, and the breakfast is delicious.

I initially visited this restaurant for a good time, but ended up extending my stay for two more nights because I really enjoyed the place. I appreciated the fact that I was able to request an additional bed for my child during my stay. The rooms were clean and well-ventilated, and the service was good. The manager was very friendly, accommodating, and flexible. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend staying here if you find yourself in Mbarara.

Hard to give a full review as I attended a function (and didn’t stay overnight). Firstly Palm World was easy to find, on Google Maps plus using local signposts. Parking is decent size. I attended a wedding that was set in the hotel grounds. We also made use of an upstairs ‘dining room’ for close family. It worked very well (although extra toilets would be helpful). I needed to order a boda to Mbarara late at night and Gerard at reception was very helpful. He called a guy who was a good driver and not too expensive. Was catering for wedding provided by hotel or other caterers? I don’t know. Overall a good wedding venue based on my experience.
