Bidrage med feedbackWe were disappointed with the gilded food variety. I ordered the chalupa, which turned out to be four 2-2 1/2 inch tortillas with shredded pork, which was a bit tricky and chewing, a bit of plucked bevel and a thin piece of plucked radishes...with a green red sauce. it was more of an appetizer than a main dish. fortunately, a large part of Rib Eye Steak was served to my man, which was very delicate and well prepared as the production required, but gone to salty for each of our tastes. the meat came on a metzger block with beautifully grilled slices of the summer squash and two grilled Jalepeno pepper. there was no brot or any other strength served with the meal.
A little undetected gem in el centro, mazatlan. next to the famous restaurant la mona on niños heroes. extremely interesting decoration. the seats are inside, no external seats are present. my wife and I shared a pear salad with goat cheese, tuna and chicken breast with chili poblano sauce (not too hot). also had tres islas craft beer on hahn. also the prices were appropriate. the service was attentive, although not busy when we were there. recommend this restaurant.
Bit of an undiscovered gem in El Centro, Mazatlan. Next door to the famous La Mona restaurant on Niños Heroes. Extremely interesting decor. Seating is all inside, no outside seating available. My wife and I shared a Pear salad with goat cheese, tuna tacos and chicken breast with Chili Poblano sauce (not too hot). Portions generous and tasty. Also had Tres Islas craft beer on tap. Prices were reasonable as well. Service was attentive, although not busy when we were there. Recommend this restaurant.
We were disappointed in the plated food variety. I ordered the Chalupa which turned out to be four 2-2 1/2 inch tortillas with shredded pork that was a bit stringy and chewy, a bit of pickled onion and a thin slice of pickled radish served with a green & red sauce. It was more of an appetizer than a main dish. Fortunately, my husband was served a large portion of rib-eye steak which was very tender and well prepared as to the doneness requested, however way to salty for either of our tastes. The meat arrived on a butcher block with nicely grilled slices of summer squash and two grilled jalepeno peppers. There was no bread or other starch served with the meal.
