Read so many good reviews before going here. Was looking forward to some good soup and a burger. The soup was not anywhere near hot, just barely warm. The soup tasted canned. I had the 3 cheese potato and my friend had the mushroom bisque. Very disappointing. We both ordered burgers. They were cooked pretty much the way we requested, but that is the only good thing I can say. Evidently Milwaukee burger standards are much higher for what is a good burger. I ordered fries and my friend onion rings. Both barely warm and not very good. The onion rings were soggy. I woukd not return here. Service was good.

Melanie was our server, she was very patient with my family as it took us a while to order. Our food arrived incredibly fast. When she brought me a box for my left over, she brought a new sauce for my wrap to take home without even asking if I’d like one. This was a phenomenal experience thanks to her great service! Thank you

While in the area of Marian University in Fond du Lac. Decided to catch a meal at a highly rated eatery in the area, The Backyard Grill. It was an evening in midweek where even at 7 pm they had a full house. Found out why. Great meal with a specialty burger and tasty onion rings. The impressive part for me was the fabulous service received by a young man named Danial. He was busy taking care of various tables. Unlike, some servers who are frazzled on a busy night, Danial was quick to greet me within 30 sec of sitting down. As I reviewed the menu, Danial easily answered my questions and made suggestions on menu choices to meet my needs. The meal was delivered promptly and everything was as requested. Periodically, he circled back to to see how the food was and he could assist further. I was very, very satisfied with the visit to the The Backyard Grill !!! Food was excellent and service was outstanding!! Plan to stop back the next time in Fondy

We had initially gone to the Sunset Grill because we wanted to eat outdoors. Needless to say they ignored us for a half hour so we left and came here. Glad we did! We were seated promptly our waitress did a great job and the food came out quickly. Overall very good meal on the outdoor patio. Would recommend to all.

Went here with My dad and granddaughters for lunch. My dad has a bad hearing problem and the 1st table that is sat us at was pretty noisy pretty noisy so they accommodated us and moved us to a quieter table. The lunch was delicious . Between Us all we had a double order of wings ... salads... baked haddock and a my dad had a seafood salad that he really liked. Prices were comparable to others. When we are in the area we will return.
