Wiesenhof - Mayrhofen

This is a lovely place the lady who runs it is super friendly summer the walk up or down the here is great in winter ski here or walk

Because this is on a black run, it's not overrun by skiers and is therefore a very civilised place to eat. No problem getting a table and the staff are lovely. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. The food is delicious very reasonably priced. Particularly good is the traditional Austrian grostli and as for their home made puddings unmissable! We sampled both the strudel and the cheesecake and both were truly yummy. Don't miss it.

....and simple good food and drinks without any circus. Try the G`röstl and the Glühwein. Always nice small talk with the female owner, even recognized after years. Perfect for skiing on the Ahorn.....cause it`s on the track.

Stops here during our hike of Sample No. 40 from Mayrhofen Zentrum. It is a typical Austrian hut. Friendly staff. You can sit inside and outside. You have a perfect view of Mayrhofen. Had the best apple strudel here during our 2 weeks holiday in Austria!
