Best it could be. The food was delicious and I highly recommend trying the donair special. Overall, a fantastic experience and I will definitely be returning.

I visited this restaurant while on a work trip from Vancouver and decided to try out a new place. The menu does not have prices listed, so you will have to go inside to see them.

This was a last minute decision to go for dinner, this is the first time to the Swiss chalet, Douglas street. This is a cheap and cheerful place to eat, the staff were friendly and the food was good for the value.

Been eating in swiss chalets for at least 40 years and have never had a bad meal ( i almost always have quarter chicken dinner white with fries ). Real fries are always great. The decor could be better, but for the price it's great. Not sure what some people expect. 3 of us had dinner and the bill was only $45...
