Figtree Churrasco Bar - Mayfield

My daughter and I stayed at the motel and had breakfast there the following morning. We both ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough, which was delicious and very filling. The portion was so generous that we couldn't finish it all. Overall, a very enjoyable meal.

I went to the restaurant with my friends and we decided to try the 10-course meal, which turned out to be a mistake. When the first large skewer was brought to our table, we were disappointed by the small portions. As we continued through the meal, we started to feel full by the fifth skewer and were practically begging for the meal to end by the seventh. Trying to finish all ten courses was a challenge and I felt like I would explode afterwards. I couldn't eat for days after that meal. The restaurant served a variety of meats and even included a pineapple skewer, each course was tasty and well-cooked, but ten courses was just too much. I would recommend sticking to six courses and not risking overeating. The girls in our group were done after five courses, while the boys kept going in a foolish competition. Take it from me, learn from my mistake and don't attempt the full 10-course meal.

Service at this restaurant is exceptional - attentive, professional, and friendly. The food is delicious. I did not try the 6-course meal myself, but those around me seemed to be enjoying it. As a solo business traveler, I appreciated the staff chatting with me and making me feel comfortable.

My wife and I went to this fine restaurant and had the $49 per person mid week six course meal; We were greeted with a smile; the atmosphere was very good and we were seated right away. We did not have to wait very long before the starter was served and it was amazing, shortly followed by the first of the main dishes. Alll in all it was a good experience though we both thought that the order the dishes were served in was wrong as the best dish was served second Honey Glazed Pork neck, which was so divine so the bar was set very high, We expected most dishes to be on par but they didn't compare, making the latter dishes whilst very nice pale in comparison. The dish we least enjoyed was served right before dessert (Chorizo). This spoilt the overall experience of the night. If your seated on the Window side of the restaurant the air-conditioning can be rather cold and the fan speed is way to hard to enjoy a quiet romantic dinner, my wife didn't take a jacket thing she would be warm in the restaurant sadly this was not the case. We did ask if something could be done about the air-conditioning and the temperature was turned up apparently but it didn't seem to make much difference. having the air-conditioning blow this hard and cold makes your side dish potato cold very quickly.

Stayed at the Motel and went up the restaurant for Breakfast, the meal was awesome best breakfast I have had in a long time and the staff were very friendly and helpful. thanks again for the experience we will return next time we are visiting Newcastle.
