Monday Sunday Thai Onehunga

Went with the family for my 68th very good Thai food, generous portions, very pleasant decor, great service from a very friendly (and very busy) waitress. And the boss gave us a freebie dessert because it was my birthday! All in all a grand night out will go back for lunch, soon.

A little quiet on a Thursday night but it shouldn’t be. Food was fantastic! Generous portions and friendly staff. Hadn’t realised it was BYO. Will definitely go back... and bring our own... that will make for a cheap and cheerful night out... with great Thai food!

We have been going to Thailand pretty much every year for 15 years. We have eaten in all kinds of restaurants there .... street food, local places , resorts , 5 star hotels . One of the reasons We return every year is for the food which is amazing . We have eaten in Thai restaurants here in auckland and never been really blown away until tonight. The food at Monday Sunday in Remuera was absolutely as good as what you get in Thailand . The whole snapper with tamarind sauce was to die for . Pad phed was so delicious , as was the spicy beef salad . All the dishes were authentic with really fresh ingredients . I can’t really understand why it wasn’t completely full.... maybe the word hasn’t got out yet just how good it is . So here I am spreading the word..... make sure you go and check them out . Reluctantly went into this local in Remuera yesterday and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. Ambience excellent, Staff happy and smiling. Good work guys!

Really friendly staff,cosy and warm space! Have been before and the food was delicious! The decor is so inviting and the restaurant is private, quiet and very clean! X
