Come on, that cheats and decrease the cents for a alcohol-free cocktail, that means that they do a double when they add cents? Of course not, euro for water, a limette and some minze leaves is an outright con. the wee was in order, but we had to buy a bottle, no half liter pitcher here, scandal, this is the best to eat in Provenienz, cheap wein. the carpacio salad was in order, and the deserts were perfect (although the so-called tiramisu was more depressing for its lack of alcohol, than his treats as picking me up'. once again I am depressed at the condition of the food in the Provence. there are so few good places, so many tourist torn joints that I only pidgeon hole don carmine as, and by the way, we live here and have done for years so that we know quite every restaurant in the region. so, boring, same menu, low quality and over price. avoid it unless they just want to feed.
We stopped in for a late lunch when most other places were closed. We had been at the Sunday morning market and also the Lavender Distillery minutes walk). Luckily for us we spotted Don Carmine right next to the market on our way back...to the car. We all had salads, and all were outstanding, fresh, attractive, tasty and interesting large salads. The little tapenades for starters were homemade and delicious, and my cassis sorbet with vanilla ice cream was generous and beautifully presented, the best I have ever had (and I have tried many The lady who served us was very friendly and efficient, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The price of this relaxed, casual and excellent lunch was most reasonable. If I lived near Coustellet, I would be returning every week after visiting the fabulous market.
Grad c and we needed somewhere to relax and relax. what a cool place inside. thank you don carmine.
For a long journey we were looking for somewhere to lunch on the way to bonnieux. when we drove through coustellet, we were stopped at the traffic lights and as a result we noticed don carmine and thought it would be ideal. it was an absolutely great...find, beautifully decorated in a modern wise, flaky wein embellish the walls and overall very welcoming. the staff and service were very good, but best was the excellent food. we ordered a mixed cheese and meat plate and loved each piece, it must have been six or seven cheese, several types of meat and the most beautiful foie gras. the best plate of this kind we had in many a year. a wonderful discovery and a visit very worth.
Dropped by for lunch and all we could say was wow! Beautiful restaurant, great service, good prices and the salads we had were among the best yet!
