Metro Diner - Matthews

Updated experience: I usually don't go back and do updates but I feel its important to let customers know what they can or cannot expect when visiting an establishment. We went back a few days ago, the quality of the food had not changed. We saw our waitress 4 times: when we sat, when she got me another spoon because mine had food stuck on it, gave us a box, and gave us the check. I sat with an empty glass for about 15 minutes before she decided to check on us. When she got there to ask about a box my food was already gone so there was no need at that point even though she still didn't ask if I wanted another drink. When we informed the lady in charge, her response was it was because they were short staff. That reason would have been fine if all the other tables our waitress had was receiving the same lack of attention. 1st experience here was okay. Our waitress was very friendly. Overall the service was pleasant. There were a couple of things that could have been cleaned better but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me. The food was decent and the prices were as well. It's the perfect spot to stop for a quick bite.

I'm glad I had a chance here. The food is wonderful!!! I wanted to challenge her with chickens and waffles. They tipped it was strawberry pepper cream with pieces of real strawberries. The chicken was crispy and juicy!! The coffee was good. Although my waitress was slow with my second cup of coffee and other staff somehow ignore me for a refill. ? Refilling is important) I will definitely make the way to this restaurant I make updates for a little, but again, I was pleasantly surprised. ?

Excellent service and delicious food! Jasmin B was very friendly and friendly! She recommended the Eisenstadt Fleischtau and fried chicken. We really enjoyed the apple mimoses for just $3,9! I always have the best experience at this point. The portions are also huge, I had enough fried chicken to bring something home later. I hope you'll bring back guns this year!

What a cool diner! Remember the late night diver I went near downtown Charlotte. Had the chicken and waffles that were amazing. Eating came super fast and the waitress was on the point. Even though it was as busy as hell, they kept everything smooth.

I took my parents to the breakfast when they were visited. we had a wonderful meal. they had the Bissel breakfast and I had the blueberry lemon waffel special. oh my god, it was amazing! and our waitress was so nice. she gave up my debt at the order. I will definitely be back for the special!
