La Cancha - Matthews

My friend and I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. I especially appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating waitress. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was clean, spacious, and not noisy at all. We’ve decided to make it our regular meeting spot. Update: we continue to return monthly for lunch, and it’s consistently a great meal.

Great value for your money! Soft drinks are just $1.75. We ordered the sampler platter for two, and it provided as much meat as we would get at the nearby Brazilian steakhouse, but at half the price. The seasoning was delightful. While the exterior of the building may look a bit worn, don’t let that fool you—the interior is clean and newly painted. We will definitely return!

My family of four just finished eating at La Cancha in Matthews. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. The food was wonderful. We've never eaten Peruvian food before. We will defiantly go back!!

Excellent food, seasoned to perfection. I have to admit, I had my expectations exceeded. It was a little quiet on a weekday. We ordered the seafood, cilantro rice, and spicy beans. Delicious! Remember this is Peruvian, not Mexican. I was quite happy we stopped in. Be careful coming off 74, traffic can move very quickly!!!

Anyone who says this restaurant is not good does not know good food. This is the best Peruvian food I have ever had!!! Literally so amazing. The chicken is always juicy and tender. The sides and appetizers are to die for. Literally can't go wrong!
