Go-go Empanadas Inc. - Matthews

This place looks like a hole in the wall, and that stopped us from trying when we moved into the area a few years ago. But one day we went to lunch and we are so glad that we made it!! The empanadas are really, really good. The Mexican style one is probably my favorite, followed by chicken and cheese. I love the peanut butter and chocolate for dessert!

I feel almost embarrassed... I don't really want to be too hard, but these empanadas are tasteless and overpriced. $1.95... You get a mini-emmanada around 3in Long (not worth the money). I have eaten over thousands of empanadas (that's not something to escape), but that's rough, I'm sorry. The empanadas are not seasoned. nothing! Beef (ice), beef (white), ham and cheese (white) sweet plantain cheese and rice beans (ice). I'm really confiscated by the lack of spices... no sazon? No adobo? Nothing?? No salt and pepper? That's not your money.

I work on a nearby dealer and all my employees love to go there at least twice a month. The lady in front is super beautiful! The food is delicious and we love the choice. It is hard to find good authentic Hispanic food and that is definitely in my Top 5.

Very friendly staff and great priced empanadas. I highly recommend ordering 1 of lots of different empanadas and sharing with a friend. While no one flavor is particularly memorable the sheer magnitude of flavors offered makes it a fun lunch outing! Our favorite was the Mexican.
