Cafe Sweet Nawate Street - Matsumoto

A very nice, friendly and cozy bakery. With beautiful bread, sandwiches croissants. Very comfortable, quiet and a beautiful place to rest after a long walk around Matsumoto. If you pass, note that there is also a brunch menu, possibly only during weekends as I was there on a Saturday that looks like a good value. But I missed this and went for other products as you can see on the picture.

Beautiful bakery in a traditional street of Matsumoto. Good selection of bread from hearty to sweet, including Karee panel, French toast, pizza on fluffy bread, rolls and so on. The staff is very friendly and the place quiet. Perfect for a small break when visiting Matsumoto!

Very friendly staff, English menu. Answers all my questions very patiently (I don't eat meat, so had to ask for some dishes, pls note that Clam Chowder New England style is cooked with bacon). Pizza was good, so was the coffee and her freshly baked bread.

I met the best bakery in Japan. Relax in the atmosphere and delicious meals and drinks. The stuff is super friendly. English menu available.

Very friendly and great selection of sweet treats including a custard filled green tea bun shaped like a frog, and the wonderful curry doughnuts. They also do a breakfast and lunch buffet which is excellent value for money.
