Pé De Arroz Lda - Matosinhos

I went with a friend without reservation, they accepted us and the restaurant is nice, clean, food is great, selfservice how many times you want, price super, the stuff is so nice, hdrinks super good. I have to go their again, for sure.

It's not very often you get to a vegetarian restaurant with as many plates as this one. Be aware it has vegan but also vegetarian options both duly identified. The food is great, you get to eat as much as you can, from the cold salads or the warm plates! Also, you need to try the deserts they are amazing! Start with a mojito or caipirinha and you'll love it! I go there every time I can!

We went with a group of 9 people for a Saturday dinner and we had a great experience! The food was served in a buffet and they had a table with varied starters and 4 hot plates. Everything was well prepared and tasty. The main menu was 9,90 €/person drinks and desserts at extra cost. The space is not big, but it was not crowded so we were able to get served without any problem and they were refilling the serving plates frequently. The only think I did not like was the waitress and was a bit pushy trying to sell the drinks and desserts. We will go back surely.

The place is absolutely lovely and the buffet was offerring plenty of choices of cold and hot goodness. I kept getting some of that seitan cold plate that was absolutely delicious. I wish I had a bigger stomach to keep eating as everything was so tasty. Their juices as well were very good. I honestly thought the food quality was much better than what you can find in DaTerra. Only drawback would be one member of the staff that was really cold and made us feel unwelcomed. I tried to smile several times at them to try and break the ice but they would just stare at me with a frown. :

I am used to eating at vegetarian restaurants, I did not find this restaurant to be that good. The place is very pretty with the inner garden and decoration, but the food was not that great when compared to other vegetarian restaurants that offer a much greater choice and tastier dishes. The staff was not very friendly either. I enjoyed the place but I come to restaurants to enjoy good food as well, so not worth the higher price as well.
