If you wish to have sound tradictional portuguese dishes, with a very good and attentive service, this is the place to go. The waiters are very helpful and friendly, the wine list is huge, and the dishes are typical of "good old times", just like..."cozido à portuguesa", outstanding! The deserts are levely. I intend to return as soon as possible

Found this restaurant on trip adviser since it's my first time in this area . The restaurant was classic with that old smell to it but I guess that's what makes it different .The food was very good !!! I had the shrimp cream soup...and the grilled octopus. Both dishes were excellent . I would recommend it to anyone in this area. Service was good also very nice people there

There are restaurants that truly are an Institution! With a fine and traditional service you won't find in a restaurant nowadays (special in the news wannabes along with truly authentic portuguese food this is one of the few restaurants in which I can truly feel...at home. Amazing people, exquisite athmosphere and great service

Thought we would have a miserable last dinner in a soulless hotel close to Porto airport but found this gem. Waiter was very pleased to practice his English and told us everthing was a speciality of the region and the house. I had the best...calamari of our holiday with a great selection of vegetables. Looking forward to our next visit

This restaurant is set in an old manor style house with a very traditional décor. It is quite spacious inside and has a room that may be used for more private groups. It has a wide selection of dishes, all of excellent quality. It has...a good selection of wines too. Everything is top rated but with top quality comes expensive pricing, although well worth it! Highly recommendable
