Bidrage med feedbackI had the la pignata, the traditional dish. It comes in two sizes. I had small one as starter parter had the larger one as the main. It is a lamb stew with potatoes, mozzarella and root veg, covered with pizza bread. You spoon food onto the bread. No bread for my celiac partner. It is cooked for hours, full of flavour and melts in the mouth. For main I had the roast lamb, potatoes and veg greens. A very tasty dish. We shared a bottle of local rose wine, a definite find on this trip. All in all marvellous food, hearty portions and friendly service. Obviously a locals favourite too several family events.
You need to try the main with lamb stew!!! That’s one of the best dishes Ive tried! Pizza was extremely good and delicious. 0.5l house wine for €5. Recommend getting for dinner between 19:45-20:00. Otherwise need to wait a line to get a table. No seafood, but omg, their meat is amazing.
The dinner was outstanding. We had pachero with pistachio, cheese and something else and it was good. The BEST was the Pignata, excellent meat and funny experience to have with the family, it’s a biiiig portion. Tiramisu and the pastry of the house were both also really good. Also the waitresses were really amicable.
Ate here over Easter, best meal we had on our trip. Excellent food, friendly staff, good value. English friendly. Get the peppers starter.
