Attilio Pizza Sub - Matawan

We visited this pizza place after a long night at Six Flags. The family running the restaurant was incredibly friendly and welcomed us warmly as they shared the history of their pizzeria and their Italian heritage. They were a lovely family, the interior was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the pizza was outstanding. I highly recommend it—10/10!

Every time I eat here, the pizza is delicious! On Mondays and Tuesdays, you can get a large, simple torte for just $11.99, which is fantastic after a long day. The staff is also very friendly!

Outrageously delicious spinach white pie... Treat yourself and so here or order for pick up. Stuffed mushrooms were uniquely stuffed with flavorful breadcrumb recipe (and wasn't a typical oversalted soggy mush-Room) it was olive oil flavored and crispy perfection. A best decision to order these also! And now I'll mention the family business aspect -what great people, dedicated to their craft and it is witnessed in the care quality of the food they so proudly and deservedly pridefully bring their customers. Friendly, good, food artisans who want to deliver meal happiness to you and your family!

Our love for Attilio's and their pizzas began about 15 years ago. It was late on a New Years eve, in our new home in Keyport. We hadn't planned anything for the evening, and it was late when we decided to get a pizza. The guy at a nearby pizza place was rude and refused to make a pizza because they would be closing in the next 40 minutes. So my hubby set out to find a place that would make one for us. He drove down Cliffwood Ave and came across Attilio's. The people were warm and wonderful...and they made a delicious pizza! We have since moved to Freehold and we still get our pizza at Attilio's! Their pizza is always fresh and full of flavor! They use ample toppings and quality ingredients. Their prices are reasonable and they are always friendly! What more could you ask for!
