I would rate this as 0 as it took 35 40mins to arrive. Other people that arrived after us received their meal. It was only until we asked that our meal was delivered. I found a long black hair in my meal. So I returned the meal. The quality has become worse over the years. It used to be the best. But with the new owners I have noted a lot of cost cutting. The menus were only on a scrap of plain paper. The service was very poor. No care that other people who arrived after us got theirs before us. No apology.

The food was good and reasonably generous, but at Auckland prices. The servers were pleasant and well-meaning but were let down by a lack of management and training. It took them a while to come back and advise our first wine selection (an Italian Soave) was not available. After another delay our second selection arrived but I then noticed it was a Pinot Gris and not a Sav Blanc as ordered. After more delays we were advised there was no Sav Blanc left, it had all been drunk at lunchtime! We ended up with a red about half way through our main. Imagine, a restaurant in NZ with no Sav Blanc at all!! Given the short wine list and again the Auckland prices I felt this was very poor management. The failure to advise us in advance of what was and wasn't available contributed to the delays. I recommend you check what is available before ordering! Parking: Might be not so easy in the daytime if busy.

I stopped here for lunch and the food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing, I got served by and amazing server named Ella she was so lovely and made the experience so nice would definitely recommend and will be back, with the amazing service!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
