The Screening Room Cinema And Eatery

Food and service is always good here. Look out for special events like the French Film Festival when some unusual menu items are offered. The cinemas are comfortable and spacious, although I believe not 3D. I'm not a fan of 3D presentation, so I don't care! The staff will deliver food and drink to your cinema seat if you order when collecting tickets. This is a nice touch, but it can be a bit disruptive to other audience members if a lot of people have pre-orders.

We just moved to Masterton from Lower Hutt and this is my wife and myself's first dinner date here in Masterton. And, the Screening Room is a worthy first choice!! We were so impressed by the food and the service. We ordered the asparagus as entree, and for me, the crispy pork belly, and my wife had the balinese lamb curry. She also had their mocktail. For dessert, we had the apple and walnut steam pudding. All of them are beyond our expections. They are all perfectly served and the tastes are just amazing!! The staff are all friendly too!! We will definitely be back again and will try the other food in the menu. Please do check them out as they have the cinema too.

Fantastic service, clean cinema, tidy bathrooms. Lots of yummy food to take in (but no popcorn, so warn the kiddos). Buying tickets online easy as. Plenty of 2 hour free parking within 100m. Can't beat that.

What a fantastic meal we had here! Arrived early and enjoyed a glass of wine until the 5pm dinner menu was available and boy was it worth it! We shared arancini balls to start, then enjoyed the braised brisket pork belly and shared a tiramisu cheesecake to finish. Absolutely fabulous food and service. 10 10

This place is amazing have a wine or two go to the movies and then have a beautiful meal all in one site. Love it
