New York Burger - Massapequa

The burgers and drinks at this restaurant were excellent! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a family outing, and they also have a nice bar area for adults.

I guess you guys aren’t up-to-date Burger bar is closed reopening soon as Burgerology. I do love American burger bar though. Great food great atmosphere great people that work there very friendly. Can’t wait for the new place open up.

I had made reservations for New Year's Eve and brought my entire family to the restaurant, only to discover that it was closed for renovations. I was disappointed that OpenTable did not update their system to reflect the closure. It was a frustrating experience, especially on such a special night. We will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Service was terrible. 10 mins to get 1 beer, 30 minutes to get our appetizers. Of course our entrees were delivered just after the appetizers were delivered. When the food came back out it was just lukewarm. The manager did make it right by discounting our meal.

We went to the Burger Bar on a Saturday evening to celebrate Mother’s Day early since some of us had to work on the actual day. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server Allie. She took our drink order and we put in some appetizers, which came out very quickly. We love the Buffalo wings and the giant pretzel, and they were delicious as always. We ordered our meals around 7pm. Now the place had gotten busy and we noticed that our food hadn’t come out by 7:30. We didn’t say anything because it was busy, lots of DoorDash orders and we were having a nice conversation among ourselves. Allie came over and engaged us for a bit, but it was now 7:45 and still no food. At this point, the manager, Will, came over and acknowledged the delay in our food and promised to make it right. Our food came out a short time later and everything was hot and delicious. Will sent over a dessert for the table, which we appreciated. He also gave us a discount on our meal, which we felt went above and beyond. Even though the food was delayed, we had a lovely night and the restaurant made it right by us, which is all we can ask when there is an issue. Thanks Allie and Will for making our evening enjoyable!
