La Vela - MASSA

I’m giving this a 4* rating simply because of the price; it was quite expensive in comparison to other places around. The food is good and it looks the part, so maybe it’s justifiable. We both had spaghetti with fish/ seafood and a glass of wine each which came to around €49. The appetisers are not free so watch out for that; although this is not uncommon in Italy. The service and food was excellent, we’ll go back before we go back home for our last posh night out.

Located in a typical 'bagno ', bathouse of the Tirreno, this small, nice restaurant provides very good and simple food. Ideal for a lunch by the sea, it is also an excellent solution for a romantic dinner. The menù is a classic of local/regional recipes: fritto misto, linguine alle arselle, crudo di pesce. It is like eating a good food cooked by your mother

Amazing seafood, great chef, fabulous plating great service all while listening to the waves crushing the shore. Would highly recommend. :
