Mad Monk's Pizza - Mason

Update: the staff of mad monks are so nice and friendly. pizza is always delicious and order.

Scary pizza and I love all pizzas. The red sauce was sour and the dough was boiled over. Not edible. Pretty sure the reviews are fake. Defiantly not 4.5 out of 5 stars.

We were looking really forward to this pizza. We have heard amazing things about it. Most have commented how crispy the crust is. We had the absolute opposite. Thinnest pizza crust ever. Everything fell right off of it. It?s almost as if it wasn?t even able to cook due to how thin it was. Pizza is not meant to be ate with a fork. Absolutely awful. We ordered the Lovely Rita Maid, it states it has Whole Roasted Garlic, there was no garlic to be had on this pizza. The fresh basil was wilted. It was a waste of $30.

This was a pizza made with love- crust was wonderfully toasted and crisp, had a glass like shell on the underside that satisfyingly broke when folded or bite into. Only detractor was a lack of fresh garlic in the sauce- would have liked at least 2 minced cloves inside...but other than that, was just perfect!

The Gripponator definitely was different, so I had to give it a try. I enjoyed it very much. I do wish it had a little more sauce. The photo is a small. It will feed 2 adults.
