Awe's Sandwich Shop - Mason City

This delightful family-owned sandwich shop has been a staple since the 1960s. A lovely lady made our sandwiches, and we enjoyed the delicious beef delights loose meat sandwich piled high with all the toppings! They also have milkshakes that looked incredibly tempting—I’ll be sure to try one on my next visit! If you're in the mood for a sandwich or a malt, I highly recommend stopping by Awes Sandwich Shop.

I had a delicious chocolate malt, and I really enjoyed everything at this American classic restaurant. It's definitely one of the best American eateries I've ever dined at.

This is definitely one of my favorite places to have lunch in Mason City. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is always fantastic. My fiancée travels a lot for work and eats out often, but whenever he comes home and craves something homemade, he just says, "Let’s go have cheese," and he's all in! He especially loves the pizzaburger here. Thank you to the wonderful ladies at the restaurant; we’ll be back soon!

Our family loves awe’s! everyone is looking forward to the wild and funny shenanigans they will have with lois. there are not many places in mason city where they get a loose meat sandwich and great memories as they get at awe. a very appreciated place in our hearts and our fools!

Wonderful family owed restaurant. The root bear is fantastic, food fresh and hot. Hand made shakes and malts, YUM! You need to check them out!!
