I would recommend qasr ateeq to anyone who wants to taste real Iranian and Iraqi cuisine in mashhad. I was there last year november 2018 and had to go back during my trip in september 2019. qasr ateeq also has western food (almost food,) but I think they should ask if it is available, but believe me, try it there middle eastern dishes! the place is located near the holy sanctuary, which means that eating is hygienic and of first-class quality. the prices are decent and the quality of service is amazing. I was always very much welcomed by the waitresses. also most of the waiters can speak both Arabic and farsi, and there are some who also speak decent English so that a bonus point is. their lemon mojitos are the best sometimes I would have 3 in a day. Also, eating does not take time that is really on the good side of qasr ateq. ask simply how many people can have a certain meal because the part of most dishes is huge (which is a very good thing). Finally, the atmosphere is really friendly and heartwarming. the place is child-friendly and it also offers private family cabins that are wonderful to see. they cannot find such a decent and beautiful opposite in the vicinity of the holy holy. Believe me, even if they're thirsty only immersed in qasr ateeq, because they're always free chai/tea to anyone who goes through haha! 5/5 for me!
