Swinton Bivouac - Masham

The cafe itself looks appealing and the food appears appetizing; however, with prices like £7.50 for a sandwich, it was beyond my budget to give it a try. Additionally, be informed that the Swinton Estate, which owns this cafe, supports the shooting of grouse, ducks, and pheasants for sport. This practice is quite brutal and is indicative of the affluent seeking leisure at the expense of animal welfare and the local ecosystem.

Absolutely breathtaking location. I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea, and my sandwich was wonderful, but I would recommend steering clear of the ploughman’s. Service rating: 4, Location rating: 5.

I stayed in one of the woodland lodges and it was absolutely breathtaking. The location is stunning, and I loved everything about this place—it's charming, beautiful, and so peaceful. The kids had a fantastic time as well, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained. I will definitely be coming back. Rating: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5. Beautiful location and staying in the yurts was a great way of being based. The services on site were all fab and there were lots of nice little touches.
