Bidrage med feedbackEl Molcajete is jusr a few miles from Mascota, set on the shores of Lake Presa Corrinches. Your signature dish, a molcajet of bubbling chicken, seafood or beef comes with cheese, poblano chili, grilled nopal cactus pad and grilled onion, with tortillas. Chingadera, an appetizer of roasted beans, beef and melted cheese with tortilla chips is great! This restaurant also offers the world's largest mocajet, a huge basalt dish listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Great view, great food!
We had a wonderful meal here in this open-air restaurant next to the largest Molcajet in the world (the traditional dish and pipe for grinding spices and maize in Mexican cuisine). The food and service were excellent. I had a wonderful bowl filled with vegetables and chicken and shrimp. The view of the lake is very peaceful. It is located a few kilometers from Mascota, but the road is relatively well marked. If you get confused, ask someone Dónde está la presa? Where's the reservoir? Everyone is really nice in Mascota so I know they'll be happy to help you.
I stopped to enjoy the view, my husband and I just ate and we were not hungry so we only had a beer and the server was very pushing to order something... So I just ordered a leaf of pommes for my daughter. There were black FRIED on the frit. So rough! We laughed and sent it back, but come on!! I'd be careful with what you wanted to eat here! I'll say the attitude was nice and there's a jungle fitness room that was fun for my toddler.
