???? POSITIVE UPDATE, July 2016-- Happened to try some of their Chinese again at a family get-together. It was SO much better than our previous experience. Love the Sesame Chicken, eggrolls, shrimp rolls, and lo mien. And the staff continues to be extremely friendly and helpful. We've been back twice on our own since that get-together, and we plan to keep going back when that craving for Chinese hits us. So glad to have some good Chinese in Blount County. Original review, May 2013--Read the reviews on here and the 93% "like it" rating and had to go try. Good Asian is hard to come by in Blount County. This is a very clean and pleasant looking restaurant. The staff is so sweet and friendly, even doting on our kids. So, it pains me to say that their food is probably the worst Asian I've had in Blount. With the positives above, we really wanted to like it. But, the food was pretty much tasteless. No exaggeration. Sunrise China and Asia Wok have tastier food, for less money (not saying they're great, but they're better than Empire Garden!) If you really want amazing Asia cuisine, make the trek to Little Bangkok in West Knox; about the same prices as Empire Garden and the food is the high quality stuff you'd get in NYC or LA. That's now our go-to place when we get a craving.

I ordered food for my mother who is at Blount Memorial hospital, and they were kind enough to deliver to her there even though they normally only have
