Barley's Taproom - Maryville

Some places are famous for good reasons; this is one of them. The combination of food, service, and atmosphere is very hard to beat. My wife had a very nice Reuben, while I opted for the old favorite, shrimp grits... both were terrific.

We started with the potato wedges, they were decent but there really wasn't anything special about them. The BBQ pork nachos had a nice flavor, but the chip to toppings ratio was off. They were in a smaller bowl and so condensed it seemed like we didn't get much to eat and it was difficult to get a chip with anything on it. The pizza was pretty good though. Cool looking place and the service was good

Great restaurant/bar! Everything on the menu looked good and there were lots of beer options. The waitresses were very nice and fast. I would definitely come again!

Guys. I have good news. I found the gravy Joe Diffie was singing about. If you come down make sure to come and try the Gravy Fries at Bluetick Tavern. They are absolutely amazing. We ate the fries to fast to take a photo.

Different style pizza than I was used to. They were fantastic. Their selection of micro brew beers were amazing and the food was all outstanding. Stop in... get one of their amazing custom pizzas ... have a cold drink... What else could you ask for?
