The Aussie Hotel - Maryborough

The Aussie Hotel no longer has a buffet or food of any kind. Still great friendly staff if you want to call in for a coldie

Upon arrival, there were no signs indicating a buffet or other dining options. To confirm, I popped in to ask the friendly bartender who informed me that the buffet had been discontinued after Mother's Day. Despite this, the atmosphere still appeared to be pleasant.

All you can buffet for $10pp. The food is not 4star quality but its tasty, nice with a range to choose from. Meats, salads and ice cream and all you can eat. You cant go wrong for $10

We have eaten here several times (live locally). Buffet quality was down for a time (cannot be easy for them when food prices are rising) but quality improved again without the buffet lunch price of $10 being increased. Background music ideal for baby-boomers!

The Aussie isn't fancy dining, but for just $10 you can enjoy a variety of food and help yourself as much as you want. We had options like tender roast beef, tasty sweet and sour chicken, delicious battered fish, and a flavorful vegetable bake, along with the usual side dishes. Dessert was also good. The restaurant has a covered playground for kids and plenty of seating for large groups. The staff were very friendly as well. It's easy to access for those who want to avoid stairs, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.
