Bidrage med feedbackI visited here for my partners birthday recently and after a wonderful visit previously I was looking forward to a lovely dinner. Unfortunately the standard of food has plummeted... it was so bad that we didn't like our entrees, swapped and still couldn't eat them....More
We went to Maryborough for one night and enjoyed a good night stay here the bed was comfy and room was clean the ladies were very helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner there it was very enjoyable! The meals were big!
Lovely quiet restaurant located alongside Motel. Lovely range of food choices. More upmarket restaurant but worth a visit.
It looks like a really nice place but it has a limited menu with some interesting choices. Unfortunately my steak was overcooked.
We went here as a family for a birthday celebration and were really impressed. We were able to park right outside the front door and were warmly welcomed on arrival by the staff. The restaurant has a warm and elegant atmosphere with a log fire and screens between tables for privacy without feeling isolated. The menu was not extensive but covered the bases well. We started with oysters which were fresh and decent size. My filet Mignon was perfectly cooked while the others had Atlantic salmon and fish and chips, both very satisfied with their mains. The kids menu was small but both the pizza and fish and chips got eaten which is always a good sign. The wine list focuses on local Pyrenees and Goldfields wines. The desserts were a decadent and rich chocolate brulee, a lovely mango pudding and a plum and almond crumble which was great until the almond crumble ran out and the tart plum took over too much. The service throughout was attentive but never obtrusive and it was just a lovely, relaxed yet special atmosphere and meal. Thanks for a lovely evening.
