Long John Silver's - Martinsville

I have not been to a Long John Silver's in 16 years and hadn't ever been here...safe to say I was nervous.Let me just tell you, I am very impressed. I got a 2 Cod combo and the cod was very hot and juicy. The fries I got were delicious and hot. The hush puppies were good, as was the lemonade. I went at 5:30 and there was nobody in there. With how good the food was, why???Service was fantastic and the place was pretty clean, if a bit dark. I will eat here again and it won't be 16 years before I eat here again.

Arrived at counter at 835. Staff was upset about late customer. Food was good, but staff harassed me and my friend with their car alarms while we tried to eat our dinner in our vehicle on the way home from an 8 hour journey. They kept using their key fobs to set off the cars on both sides of my truck. Who does this?

Lamaine and Tammy are great PR folks.Make me feel welcomed.

The only problem I see is they usually don't drain the grease out of the food before boxing it up. Also no spork nor sauces as asked for. Just as other fast food joints it all depends who is working and the pride they take into their job....
