I live in Foxcliff North, Martinsville and regularly visit the KFC located at 2235 Burton Lane (Weekly) for years. I have left messages that have gone unreturned for the franchise owner as this location is in severe trouble and does not represent KFC in apositive manner. My last visit on 10/23/22 was similar to most. I arrived at 7:05 PM to find the Lobby was locked. (Lobby timeclosure on Front Door is labeled 8pm). Looking through the Glass front door I saw 4 individuals behind the counter standingaround doing nothing and just staring at me. Loud rap music was blaring from the inside of the restaurant. There were no othercustomers or cars on the property at this time other than my family of 3. We proceeded to the Drive Thru (7:05 pm on a Sunday)to be told they were out of chicken upon arrival at the Drive Thru Speaker. I asked if we could get an 8 Piece family meal towhich the KFC employee stated the Owner/Boss had instructed them to not make any more chicken after 7pm? The restaurant does notclose until 9pm per online and front door posting. When I asked why the lobby was closed, I was told due to Short Staff . Yetthere were 4 people standing around inside appearing to have a party and good time rather than their job. I asked to speak withthe Manager on duty and the KFC person on speaker said they were the Manager but would not give his name and said file acomplaint if not happy, they were doing as they were told and not making any more chicken, therefore unable to accommodate an 8piece order at 7:05 pm on a Sunday? This is not the first time I have experienced this same refusal of business and goneelsewhere for dinner accommodations due to Poor Business. It is a shame and should be dealt with accordingly.
Sooooo this place is under New management and they're cleaning house. Had an Issue with order. Issue was VERY Graciously righted even right after closing!! I read some of the other reviews and I hope these new changes help out.
We were served by the new General manager and this location is definitely on its way up. The food was great and when there was a small issue for the order it was quickly resolved. The overall dining area was cean and well attended to. The buffet wasunfortunately still closed but the GM assured us that It would be open again soon as they were making changes under hisleadership. I would happily go to this location again
This afternoon I ordered two large orders of Mashed. Potatoes and gravy. I get home and there's barely any gravy. I was surprised because normally when I go to a KFC I get an abundance of gravy. I haven't been to this KFC in a long time andprobably won't be back anytime soon.
