Bidrage med feedbackAs a wedding venue owner, we have the opportunity to taste a lot of food especially BBQ. I heard many guests complimenting the pit crew on how great the food was at the event. Our crew rated Mountaineer Meats as the best BBQ they've tasted this year (and we taste a lot!! . Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You'll go back more than once!! 6 Pastures Farm
Usually, I?m not a big fan of BBQ, however this place changed my mind! I got the brisket with loaded French fries as an appetizer, pulled pork sandwich, and burger with mushrooms. Definitely one of my top restaurants in WV. Everything is made fresh daily. Staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful!! Great sauces on the side. I recommend this place!
I?ve tried a lot of BBQ places and let me tell you this place was so good! Their meat was moist and the flavor of the pepper from the brisket just burst in your mouth. And the pulled pork was cooked perfectly. And let me just say they have the best cornbread I?ve ever had in my life and that?s a lot considering I?ve eaten cornbread from Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. Hands down amazing. The owner is a nice guy and his staff were so respectful. I?ll definitely be back
A close friend took me to Mountaineer Meat Smokers for my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised! This was my first visit and I was truly amazed by the quality of food and my dining experience. It felt like I was back home in the South with the open floor style and being able to talk and laugh with the fellow patrons. The food was fantastic and the staff was extremely welcoming. I appreciated how Travis came out and personally sat to chat with us. I am amazed with the
Placed order for quart of brisket, pint of pulled pork, slab of ribs, green beans pint, 6 corn bread and ask for some sweet bbq. Order was over 100. Picked up order no bbq sauce, ribs way under cooked to where I could press out blood. Called location and was told owners were out of town and would have to call back. Will that helped none...everything else was A1..cooked ribs at 250 in foil for two more hours and was wonderful.
